Seek Church

Seek Church was born out of a growing vision to see lives transformed by Jesus in Iowa City. For the past six years, Pastor Derek Quinby has served as the director of Chi Alpha at the University of Northern Iowa, investing in students, building community, and helping people take their next steps in following Jesus. Through that season of ministry, God began stirring a call to plant a church that would reach the University of Iowa campus while also serving and impacting the entire city.

As that vision became clearer, plans for Seek Church began to take shape. Pastor Noah, who has faithfully served as our Youth & Mission Pastor, will also be relocating to Iowa City to serve as the University of Iowa Chi Alpha Director and help establish the church. In addition, several individuals and families from our church have committed to moving with the team, helping lay the foundation for a healthy, vibrant church community from day one.

As their sending church, we are honored to partner with and support Seek Church in this exciting new chapter. We believe God is not finished with Iowa City. We are praying for a movement of God that reaches students, strengthens families, and impacts the city for years to come.

The story of Seek Church is just beginning, and we can't wait to see all that God will do through it.
